Great stay near the beach!
Had a lovely 2-night stay in a King Room. Breakfast was excellent, had to ask for a smaller portion on day 2! Super close to the beach and the train station, making trips to Barmouth easy. Dinner was awesome too, rib-eye steak was a highlight. Just wish the shower had better water pressure!

This was just a top selection for a short break in Fairbourne with attractive and competitive value for money. The staff was responsive. I had an issue with the light in my room, and they promptly brought me a lamp. Just double-check the hotel sign before arriving as it's slightly hard to find.

I thoroughly enjoyed the warm, friendly atmosphere and the stunning mountain views. The spacious room was both clean and comfortable, making it a perfect retreat for relaxation. Convenient access to the beach was also a lovely bonus.
A lift would improve accessibility for seniors.

we stayed for 2 nights and had such a great time at the springfield hotel. john and the staff were super nice and really made us feel at home, especially with our son’s needs. the food was amazin, breakfast and their sunday lunch were so good. the location is perfect, really close to the beach and with beautiful mountain views. also, the whole place was dog friendly, which made our son really happy.
the only things i could complain about were the stairs being a bit tricky for our dog and maybe the bathroom could use a little more attention to detail.

the location is awsome, really close to the beach and the railway to barmouth. the breakfast was super tasty and the staff were friendly and always around to help. we loved the quirky setup of the hotel. there's a nice bar and good food options nearby, which was a big plus. overall, we had a great time here and felt relaxed.
the mirrored in our room was placed too high for us to use easily and the bathroom smelled kinda bad.

The view from the room provided a beautiful backdrop of rolling mountains, which was a nice touch that brightened our mornings. The location was conveniently close to local attractions, making it easy to explore the area.
The noise from the nearby music venue was absolutely unbearable. it felt like the disco was right in our room, keeping us awake until the early hours with loud music and shouting. Upon entering, our room was less than clean, with cobwebs and visible dust everywhere, which made us question the housekeeping standards. The missing shower curtain in our first room was a major inconvenience that should have been checked before we arrived. Lastly, the digital room key malfunctioned multiple times, adding to the frustrations during our stay.
